Diaries of A Bargainista: Floral Printed

Top Lauren Conrad Kohls / Crops Target / Wedges Madden Girl DSW
This is really my standard attire these days, crops and a tank top (not heels, usually flippy floppies)...  I like to refer to it as my "momrobe".  Really though, this is ONLY my standard attire when I have to go in public.  If I'm not going in public then it's yoga pants/shorts and a workout top.  Wearing pants with an elastic waist is an absolute necessity.  Especially with those last 5 lbs of pregnancy weight sagging off my body!

For some reason I'm finding myself at a blank right now and not knowing what to write.... Instead of blabbing on and on about absolutely nothing, I'm just going to let me one lame photo do the talking for today...

Diaries of a Bargainista - I'm BAACCKKK

Seriously, I'm not even going to pretend for one second that I'm a fashion blogger, but it is fun to post outfit pictures every now and then.  Days when my hair AND makeup are done are few and far between, so I thought I should take advantage and do an outfit post, crazy I know...

Top Marshalls / Crops TJ Maxx / Wedges DSW / Necklace Sam Moon / Clutch TJ Maxx
I've always been a pretty plain girl and jeans with a t-shirt is my kind of standard style.  When I found this top with a flowy sheer back I absolutely loved it.  The fact that it was also only $14.99 helped too! It's still a t-shirt, but the sheer back gives it a little extra OOMPH.  I mean considering I'm a Stay at Home Mom now, this is just about as fancy as I get.

Let's be real honest tho, I didn't actually wear this outfit out of the house... I just put it on to take pictures, LOL! I would actually wear it out of the house though, probably with flats instead of heels. I mean do you ever see a mom pushing a stroller in heels? That's what I thought...

How to Tell if Your Cat is Plotting to Kill You

This weekend seems like it flew by, AS ALWAYS!  We were busy working on baby's nursery, registering and shopping!

Let's just start with the funniest thing that happened to me this weekend!  I bought this book How to Tell if Your Cat is Plotting to Kill You, well because I have 2 cats and I thought it was hilarious!  I'm out shopping when I get a text from my husband with this picture:

Here's my cat Jerry hanging out on our couch with the book and a giant knife!  Dying laughing!!

After I stopped laughing at my text message it was time to concentrate on shopping! Thankfully pregnancy hasn't taken this hobby away from me yet... I'm heading to Philadelphia tomorrow for a work trip and was needing some flat shoes.  Yes, I have flat shoes, but for some reason (cough cough pregnancy) my fat toes needed some larger kicks!

I scowered DSW trying on every pair of flats that I could find, all of them being too tight because of my wide fat pregnant feet...  I even ALMOST resorted to buying Aerosoles or Life Strides, but I just couldn't do it.  After trying on the same pair of Michael Kors shoes 5 or 6 times I decided I would get them.  1st of all I had to go up an ENTIRE SIZE, 2nd of all I really wanted the tan pair but they didn't have my size so I had to settle with black. At least they will match everything!

I'm slowly but surely going from a Bargainista to a Comfortista.  I had to pay a pretty penny for these beauts, but at least I will be comfortable!!  That's what it's all about when you're pregnant!

More on my shopping adventures and Nursery Update later this week... I can't believe I'm actually promising to post more, but I am!!  Stay Tuned :)

Let me Introduce You...

I haven't posted anything since last Thursday and I'm getting the blogging bug.  Therefore since I have absolutely nothing planned for the day I'm going to break my cardinal of blogging things you already posted on Instagram!  Shoot, I never should have made that rule for myself, that was stupid...

Anywho, I organized my closet last weekend and discovered my plethora of clothes that had been hiding from me for the last 6 months, so I decided I needed some new shoes to go with all my newly found clothing!

Let me introduce you to:

Goldilocks (yes I just named my shoes)
$20

And Blue Spike
Wow, glad I didn't work too hard getting creative on that name....

$30

What do you think of my new shoes?

Diaries of A Bargainista: Neon and Cheetah

Dress Old Navy: $20 // Scarf H&M: #12.99 // Belt Ross: $1.99 // Shoes Audrey Brooke: $19.99 // Clutch Target: $8.99 // Accessories: Gifted Fossil, TJ Maxx
Spring has sprung in TX and I am completely ready for all the warmer weather and Vitamin D.  As you can see I got a little too much Vitamin D and have a mini sunburn on my arms and chest!

This dress is so comfy, I just bought it this weekend and I'm dying to buy even more Maxi's.  I consider Maxi's the acceptable way to wear pajamas in public.  Nothing is more comfortable that this!!

What did you wear this week?  Has spring shown its bright and shiny face in your state??
Now it's time for you ladies to link up your outfit of the week!
