Diaries of A Bargainista + Link-Up

Hi all! I'm Ginny over at My New Favorite Outfit. I'm super excited to get the opportunity to post over here today for the sweet Alisa. A little about me: I'm a middle school English teacher who's always had a passion for fashion. Back in my single days I easily spent hundreds each month on clothes. Things changed when I got married and my husband and I agreed to a budget. He's a big saver, which I appreciate, but it definitely took awhile for me to get adjusted. I still splurge every once in a while, but have become a bargain shopper who can smell out a deal from miles away, well not really, but you know what I mean. :)

So, now to my outfit: Creating a look under fifty can be quite the challenge, especially when you have to include shoes, but it can be done, and here's the proof! I found this great Ann Taylor Loft dress for $4.5 at Goodwill and this amazing vintage blazer for $.99. I love the blazer's tailoring, and already have a few looks lined up to go with it. The necklace came from Very Jane, which I highly recommend checking out, and the shoes were a great deal at Famous Footwear. Let me just say I love that animal print is the new neutral!

Blazer: Vintage $.99
Dress: 4.5
Belt: Kohl's 1.5
Necklace: Very Jane $6
Tights: Target $8
Shoes: Famous Footwear $15
Grand Total: $36

Not only is this outfit gorgeous, but also it was under 40 Bucks! A blazer for 99cents is seriously insane! Great job creating this outfit for such a great price!  Now drop on by and say Hi to Ginny over at her blog!
