Did you Say Bargain?

As I mentioned earlier this week, I did a little shopping this weekend.  I mean what else is a girl to do when she's pregnant and it's 110 Degrees outside?  The thought of laying outside by a pool in a bikini sounds miserable!  If I'm at a pool I better have a drink in my hand, if I can't do that then I'm just gonna skip it all together!!

My mission on Sunday was to get new shoes form DSW and go home. I of course couldn't JUST go to DSW, I had to mosey on down to Old Navy!  They were having 25% Off Maternity clothes, 30% Off Baby clothes and I had a $10 Off $50 Purchase.  You really can't beat that. I told myself I need to stop buying clothes, but I just couldn't resist.  The instant gratification is just too satisfying!

When I got to the Maternity section and discovered they actually had some NEW STYLES I almost hyperventilated, not really,  but you get what I mean.  You see, new styles of maternity clothes are few and far between.  When I actually see something new in that section I HAVE to buy it!

Purple sweater with Sparkle Polka Dots - Only $15
(I can't believe that I can barely see my feet, EEEKKK!!)

Stripe Sweater $17
I can't wait to wear this with leggings and riding boots this fall!

That's my lame attempt at fashion blogging for the week!

How to Tell if Your Cat is Plotting to Kill You

This weekend seems like it flew by, AS ALWAYS!  We were busy working on baby's nursery, registering and shopping!

Let's just start with the funniest thing that happened to me this weekend!  I bought this book How to Tell if Your Cat is Plotting to Kill You, well because I have 2 cats and I thought it was hilarious!  I'm out shopping when I get a text from my husband with this picture:

Here's my cat Jerry hanging out on our couch with the book and a giant knife!  Dying laughing!!

After I stopped laughing at my text message it was time to concentrate on shopping! Thankfully pregnancy hasn't taken this hobby away from me yet... I'm heading to Philadelphia tomorrow for a work trip and was needing some flat shoes.  Yes, I have flat shoes, but for some reason (cough cough pregnancy) my fat toes needed some larger kicks!

I scowered DSW trying on every pair of flats that I could find, all of them being too tight because of my wide fat pregnant feet...  I even ALMOST resorted to buying Aerosoles or Life Strides, but I just couldn't do it.  After trying on the same pair of Michael Kors shoes 5 or 6 times I decided I would get them.  1st of all I had to go up an ENTIRE SIZE, 2nd of all I really wanted the tan pair but they didn't have my size so I had to settle with black. At least they will match everything!

I'm slowly but surely going from a Bargainista to a Comfortista.  I had to pay a pretty penny for these beauts, but at least I will be comfortable!!  That's what it's all about when you're pregnant!

More on my shopping adventures and Nursery Update later this week... I can't believe I'm actually promising to post more, but I am!!  Stay Tuned :)
