- Bean Dip
- Sour Cream
- Cheddar Cheese
- Diced Green Chiles
- Jalapenos
- Black Olives
I take this dip out on the lake almost every time we go and it's the first thing to get eaten. It might sound a little weird with bean dip and sour cream, but I promise it WILL NOT disappoint!'
Recipe #2: Hawaiian Roll Sandwiches
- Hawaiian Rolls
- Sliced Cheese
- Turkey or Ham
Unfortunately I have to give credit to my brother Cy for this idea, it's brilliant! Perfect for the lake, picnics, any time you need to keep sandwiches in a cooler, this is the way to go!
Fold rolls back together and keep in the cardboard packaging. This will keep the sandwiches from getting soggy in the kooler. Place back in the bag. The perfect sandwich!
Take the dip and sandwiches out on the lake and enjoy your day!
Don't forget Meg and I will be having a Bachelor Pad Blab and Gab Link-Up tomorrow. I will post the button in my sidebar!
How was your weekend?
Linking up for the weekend wrap-up!

HAHA - you're not a bad American, you just spared yourself 5 hours of you life by doing something more fun!
DeleteI wish we had Hawaiian rolls in Toronto. I always have them when I am in Cali visiting my mom.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! Your recipes look yummy!! This is similar to your Hawaiian roll recipe but there's a delish poppy seed sauce you brush on top and then bake them in the oven!! SO good! I've made and love both those recipes before...but never repackaged the sammiches so smartly...I usually just shove them in a ziploc bag, but that was a good tip to try! And I love any swimming activity, I even stumbled upon some extreme kayaking (not sure what it's really called hah) yesterday which was pretty cool too.
ReplyDeleteYUM! I love the lake! Looks like a wonderful time! xoxo

ReplyDeleteokay, i have been wanting to try the bud light lime-a-rita, but am so nervous about the taste. I can handle a Bud Light Lime, but could freaking chug a margarita---so which one does it tend to favor? beer or 'rita? make a believer out of me! :)
